How the Service Works

Task List Per Visit

Time and Materials. 

Scheduling/ Communication

Payments/ Rescheduling

Walk through Tasks:

  • Electrical: Test all outlets (inspecting wear), Lights fixtures and switches.

  • Water: Test all Valves (inspect they close without leaks), check exposed drains for leaks and plugs, Check or replace filters

  • HVAC: Replace Filters, vacuum burner area, inspect/clean coils

  • Tile/Countertop: Inspect tile, Grout, Silicone, Sealers and repair as needed. 

  • Trim and Drywall: Inspect and repair as needed. small repairs or paint that needs touched up will be addressed

  • Exterior: Check for damaged siding, roofing, windows and silicone seals.

Time:

  • Time is based on the sqft of the property and is designed for the tasks above and making minor repairs as seen. 

  • Time of Service includes running to the hardware store if needed for materials required for a repair. If a visit time is extended due to a material run, that time will be added as a onetime fee outside the service agreement.

  • If a repair or added time is required or requested, an Hourly rate will be billed out separately and/or will be estimated and scheduled as its own service.

Material: 

  • Material Allowances are based built into the service and are designed to cover paint, valves, lightbulbs, filters and other things your property may need during each visit. 

  • Materials exceeding the allowance will be charged out in addition to the service.

Additional Services:

  • Additional Services requested can be added to a service plan before the service has contracted. (More time per visit, additional tasks (sprinkler systems, yard clean-ups, landfill runs)

  • Larger Tasks or repairs that surface will be estimated and will be scheduled and billed separately from the services provided above. (Minor remodels, Installation of new Appliances)

Scheduling:

Upon Selecting a service, Hilux will have completed an in-person consultation, and both parties will have all services pre-scheduled.

Communication:

Each Customer is given a profile through our website where they can request schedule changes and inform HiLux of concerns that have come up before the next service date.

  • Letting us know ahead of time, will allow us to better prepare, often allowing us to bring special materials/ tools in efforts to be able to make additional repairs without adding additional costs.  

Payment Options:

  • Best Deal: Pay for entire Contract upfront and save up too 15% on the annual service.

  • Pre-scheduled, Pay as you go 

    • To pre-schedule your services a 25% deposit is required on all scheduled services.​

    • Same day Payments (payments will be made the same day as the service is completed per service visit)

  • Pay/Schedule as you go

    • This service is limited to availability and there is no bundle discounts and will be charged the minimum and time and materials after. payments due same day as service. ​

​Rescheduling 

  • When rescheduling we require a 24hr notice​

    • Cancelation/ reschedule request with in 24hours will be charged 25% rescheduling fee. (for that visit)

    • Cancelation/ reschedule request with in 12hours will be charged out in full. (for that visit)​
